Rapid Runoff Sketch (2015) for solo Percussion
This piece depicts ice breaking and melting as the snowpack from the mountains runs into the river. As the piece progresses, the river then turns into crashing rapids. The work concludes with the same shimmery texture of the opening, reminding the listener of the snowpack as the river fades out of sight.
